NAMI Calendar August-December 2010

AUGUST

NAMI Picnic -Monday, August 30 - 6-8 pm. Will be a POTLUCK picnic. 

Please bring beverage and dish to pass. Meat will be provided. 

Location is Al Quaal Recreation Area pavilion, 501 Poplar St, Ishpeming. 

Picnic canceled if severe weather. 

Remember there is a pavilion available. 

Take Rt. 41/28 to Ishpeming, turn north on Hickory St. across from Wells

Fargo Bank. Travel 0.5 mi. Turn left onto Poplar and Al Quaal in on right.

 

SEPTEMBER

Support Group - Monday, September 13, 7-9 pm, The Commons Conference Room,

129 West Baraga Ave

Families in Action -Tentative start date is Thursday, September 16, 6:30 pm, the Commons

Conference Room, 129 West Baraga (Continues for 10 weeks). 

Call Jane by September 1 if interested.

Educational Meeting - September 27, 7-9 pm -Dr. John Olesnavage will speak about The

Healing Power of Boundaries, the Commons Conference Room, 129 W. Baraga.

Executive Committee Meeting tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 16.

Pathways Board Meeting - Wednesday, September 1, 6 pm at Pathways Conference Room

 

OCTOBER

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK October 5-11

Support Group - Monday, October 11, 7-9 pm - The Commons Conference Room,

129 W. Baraga Ave

Younkers Community Day tickets will be distributed during October for those interested.

Educational Meeting-Monday, October 25, 7-9 pm, The Commons Conference Room, topic to

be announced

Pathways Board Meeting - Wednesday, October 6, 6 pm at Pathways Conference Room

NOVEMBER

Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Please be informed and vote.

Baraga, Holiday gifts for Pathways consumers may be brought to this meeting and will be

delivered to Pathways

Younkers Community Day. November 13, 6 am-10 pm A fund raiser for NAMI and possibly

a savings for you
